Please don’t throw hot oil in our faces for saying this, but we sometimes get a touch envious of Crocs. Not their bulbous gaudy appearance, mind you, but the utter lightness and comfort they appear to afford he legions of nurses and ten-year-olds who wear them religiously. These loafers from SWIMS, a company that specializes in fancy galoshes, seem to answer our desires.
Made of rubber with an anti-bacterial mesh lining, these are a “water-proof spin on the classic loafer … just as perfect for wading in the water as for watering plants in the garden.” Some of the colorways are just as intense as Crocs, and only a handful seem suitable for wearing out to dinner, but we are definitely intrigued.
